Dr Mwansa Ketty Lubeya is an Obstetrics & Gynaecology specialist and Lecturer at the University of Zambia-School Medicine, based at the Women and Newborn Hospital, University Teaching Hospitals. She is currently pursuing her PhD in public health at Witwatersrand Mwansa is a national and regional trainer in the prevention of gender based violence and has been key in developing curriculum and training providers. She has over a decade of post-qualification experience with administrative skills at different levels and has over 40 publications in peer reviewed journals. Mwansa is a 2017 Mandela Washington Fellow, a flagship program for the outstanding Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI). Her selection for the MWF was in recognition of her community work in cervical cancer prevention and her proven record of leadership.
