Emmanuel Mensah, MD MBA is the Chief Medical Officer of ChristianaCare, Wilmington Hospital in Delaware and an Assistant Professor at Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University. He’s also an Internal Medicine physician in the US and in Ghana. He currently serves as one of the members of the high-level advisory committee on NCDI/MH for Africa CDC. He was previously the Managing Director of the Center for Integration Science in Global Health Equity at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. He was also a Firm Chief and faculty in the Department of Medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center / Harvard Medical School where he received many awards; he was notably recognized with Harvard Medical School’s 2022 Charles McCabe Faculty Prize for Excellence in teaching. His work improving health systems led to his nomination as one of the 40 under 40 Leaders in Minority Health by the National Minority Forum. He previously also worked as a consultant at McKinsey and Company working with various health systems globally. Dr Mensah earned his MD from Harvard Medical School, and MBA from Harvard Business School. He received his BA in Mathematics and Biology from Dartmouth College.
