Grace Ikahu

Dr. Grace Ikahu is a global health leader involved in health coordination, partnerships and global health diplomacy at the intersection of Global Health, Policy Dialogue and Advocacy, with a focus on development of resilient Health Systems and Global Health Security. She provides thought leadership and technical leadership on public health programs in global health security and emergency preparedness and response, as well as malaria programming, control of communicable and non-communicable diseases, gender equity in health, health systems strengthening, and partnerships and collaborations. Dr. Ikahu is currently serving in the Ministry of Health, Kenya as the Acting Director of Public Health & Sanitation. She is a recognized public health specialist by the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council, and is a member of the Kenya Medical Association (KMA) and the Public Health Society of Kenya (PHSK). She holds a Bachelor in Medicine and Surgery (MBChB) from the University of Nairobi and a Master of Public Health from Moi University. She also undertook a fellowship in Women in Global Health Leadership with Toronto University and is a certified project management professional.
